Company Invites Patrons to Ride in a Pink Limousine
to Fight Against Breast Cancer

Myrtle Beach, SC (June 9, 2010) – The fight against breast cancer has a new weapon, or rather a new mode of transportation. Carolina Limousine, the area’s leading luxury transportation company, is partnering with local charity Caring in Our Lifetime to raise funds for and awareness of breast cancer in Horry and Georgetown Counties. For every reservation in the Pink Limo, Carolina Limousine will donate $10 per hour to Caring in Our Lifetime for the fight against breast cancer.

“We are in the transportation business and the majority of our customers are women,” said Joseph B. Reinhardt, president of Carolina Limousine. “We wanted to give something back to them and to the community that was significant and to say thanks for their patronage. We think the Pink Limo is a fun way to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.” Reinhardt said the inspiration for the Pink Limo came from a dear friend who battled breast cancer in 2009.

The Pink Limo holds up to ten people and is perfect for bachelorette parties, weddings and birthdays, said Reinhardt. The modified Stretch Lincoln Towncar features pink interior carpeting, pink cocktail napkins, and a premium sound system. Reservation packages include a pink carpet rollout by professional chauffeurs displaying Pink Ties, complimentary champagne on ice, and Free VIP Nightlife admission for parties over 21 years of age.

Reinhardt said that by partnering with Caring in Our Lifetime, Carolina Limousine can help the charity’s mission of raising funds and providing financial assistance with medical expenses to individuals in Horry and Georgetown counties affected by breast cancer.

RAISES $19,245 TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER
A CURE IN OUR LIFETIME Receives Contribution Through The Stanley K. Tanger Breast Cancer Fund

Visitors to the Tanger Outlet Center in Myrtle Beach last fall did much more than just shop. Their outlet shopping trips to Tanger are helping to fight breast cancer here in Myrtle Beach. Tanger’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign which took place October 30 - November 20 raised $19,245.

The money raised during this year’s campaign will benefit the A Cure In Our Lifetime through the newly established Stanley K. Tanger Breast Cancer Fund. A Cure In Our Lifetime is dedicated to raising funds and providing financial assistance with medical expenses to individuals in Horry and Georgetown counties affected by breast cancer.

“We are pleased to join A Cure In Our Lifetime in our mutual goal to fight the terrible disease of breast cancer,” stated Sherri Crawford, Marketing Director of the Tanger Outlet Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. “The generous support that we received from Tanger customers, our national retail partners including Coach Factory Stores and from A Cure In Our Lifetime helped make our campaign a big success. We must all remain committed to this fight until a cure for breast cancer is finally found,” she added.
